Bristol Hospice - Eugene, LLC.

Volunteers provide support to patients and their loved ones including running errands and lending emotional support and companionship to patients and family members. We have student internship and office volunteer opportunities. No experience required. Training programs include understanding hospice, confidentiality, working with families, listening and grief support.

Becoming a Palliative Care Volunteer is easy and rewarding. No experience necessary, just a genuine commitment to help us meet the needs of local patients and their loved ones. Springfield Lions Club

Springfield Lions Club was chartered in 1950. We are dedicated to serving our community with programs which include annual vision screening in public schools in the Springfield area, assistance with eyeglasses and Hearing aids, diabetes awareness, and food pantries in our community. Springfield Lions reflect the Lions’ motto “We Serve.”

St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County

Local not-for-profit agency dedicated to serving homeless and low income individuals in Lane County. Offer emergency services, affordable housing, and jobs/training opportunities in St. Vinnie's recycling businesses. Volunteers are needed to help with food boxes, emergency service outreach, homework clubs, advisory boards, and booth/events.

Volunteers in Medicine Clinic.

Provides medical services to uninsured adults by using more than 450 volunteers per month. Positions include: Behavioral Health Counselor Dispensary Lead, Eligibility Screener, Greeter, Medical Records, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomist, Physicians, Physician Assistant, Scheduler, Receptionist, Special Events, Spanish Interpreter.

Volunteers in Policing (V.I.P.) Program

Eugene Police Department's VIP Program partners citizens & police in support of crime prevention and community policing efforts. Volunteers serve subpoenas, help maintain vehicles, perform graffiti abatement, provide clerical support, investigate cold cases, photograph employee activities and events, locate stolen vehicles, perform disabled parking enforcement, and provide chaplain services.
